NAVs ends lower led by weak market sentiment

Equity funds continued to fall led by weak market condition. Meanwhile Debts funds are expected to deliver good performance led by positive triggers in the market.

NAVs ends lower led by weak market sentiment
Equity funds continued to fall led by weak market condition. All Equity and Balanced categories were seen under pressure with negative returns.


In the sector space, barring Pharma & Healthcare all others posted slumped with no gainers recorded.


The sliding rupee has hit market very hard. The BSE benchmark closed 15,948.10, down 78.31 points or 0.49% and NSE benchmark dropped 24.85 points or 0.51% to 4,835.65.


On the debt front, both Short term and Long term categories continued to advance supported by RBI's bond purchase. According to Dhawal Dalal, DSP BlackRock bond prices will likely react positively in near term.
