NAVs end higher as markets gain

Equity diversified NAVs ended higher with advance:decline ratio of 226:9 as the Indian equity benchmarks continued their uptrend on Thursday. Overall it was a consolidation day with a positive bias though market spiked up in the last half an hour of trade.

NAVs end higher as markets gain

Equity diversified NAVs ended higher with advance:decline ratio of 226:9 as the Indian equity benchmarks continued their uptrend on Thursday. Overall it was a consolidation day with a positive bias though market spiked up in the last half an hour of trade. But the volume was quite low compared to previous months' series.



The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 18,845.87, up 152.01 points. The 50-share NSE Nifty gained 46.95 points, to settle at 5,647.40.


 


Sector fund ended with positive returns. Short and Long term debt funds too ended higher, their; advance:decline ratio stood at 114:5 & 48:23, respectively.
