NAVs advanced as market ends higher

The markets delivered excellent performance in previous trading session led by short covering which fuelled the rally.The BSE benchmark advanced 357.72 points or 2.09%, to close at 17,503.24. Meanwhile, the NSE benchmark gained 113.10 points or 2.17% at 5,333.55.

NAVs advanced as market ends higher
The markets delivered excellent performance in previous trading session led by short covering which fuelled the rally. All the equity funds excelled and ended with positive returns with no decline seen in any category. Balanced funds too closed in a positive terrain.


Sector funds too felt positive vibes leading to funds ending in green. All the funds advanced witnessing no losers.


The BSE benchmark advanced 357.72 points or 2.09%, to close at 17,503.24. Meanwhile, the NSE benchmark gained 113.10 points or 2.17% at 5,333.55.


The debt funds however shared negative outlook led by rising crude oil prices. Long term category ended with negative returns with advance: decline ratio of 19: 53 for Long term funds and 7: 42 for Gilt long term. Meanwhile the Short term category ends mixed. The ratio recorded for Short term funds were 33: 36, 67: 2 for Ultra Short Term Debt and 13: 5Gilt Short Term
