Equity funds maintained good performance with all Equity and Balanced funds ending in green with very few decline led by positive market outlook.
The market remained in a consolidation phase for the second consecutive session on Wednesday, especially ahead of F&O expiry today. The session ended with BSE ending at 6,967.76, up 61.18 points while NSE went up 21.10 points to 5,141.90. In the debt space, Long term funds saw no recovery and closed on negative bias. Meanwhile Short term funds maintained good performance with no decline. The debt market has turned bearish as the factors like rise in crude oil price, absence of OMO announcement from RBI and impending supply of G-Secs in the auction today affected the performance of debt funds .
