Equity and Debt Mutual Funds delivered stable performance in yesterday’s session led by positive market rally.
The performance of Equity Mutual Funds bounced back yesterday after ending in negative zone in the previous session. Funds in the Large cap category delivered a better performance than Small & Mid cap in the broader market space. Thematic Infrastructure funds lost the most registering very few declines while Index funds were the star performer among Equity categories.
Funds in the defensive sectors like Pharma & Healthcare & FMCG and Banking & Finance were in line with the markets performance. However, Technology funds succumb under selling pressure and hence were seen in red.
Hybrid funds too delivered stable performance with majority of funds ending in green.
