Kotak MF appoints Harsha Upadhyaya as head of equities

Kotak Mutual Fund today announced the appointment of Harsha Upadhyaya as the head of equities. Prior to his appointment at Kotak Mutual Fund, Upadhyaya was the senior vice president, fund manager, at DSP BlackRock Investment Managers, the company said in a release issued here. He has been a fund manager with UTI AMC for five years. Upadhyaya brings with him extensive experience in the Indian equity markets with a focus on tracking sectors across domestic and international markets. "Harsha's experience will complement our existing equity fund management team. His demonstrated performance backed by our strong research and process oriented approach will go a long way in furthering our core belief of consistently creating an alpha over the benchmark for our investors," Kotak Mutual Fund CEO Sandesh Kirkire said.
