Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has declared a dividend of 30% (Rs 3 per unit on a face value of Rs 10), in Kotak 30, an open-ended equity scheme. The objective of the scheme is to generate long-term capital appreciation from a portfolio of predominantly equity related securities with investment, generally not more than 30 stocks. (Check out - Recent MF Dividends ) The record date for dividend is July 20, 2007. All unitholders in Kotak 30 (Dividend Option) as on the record date will be eligible to receive the dividend. The declaration of dividend is subject to availability of distributable surplus. After the payment of dividend, the NAV will fall to the extent of the payout. Past performance may or may not be sustained in future. This is the tenth dividend declared by the scheme since its inception. The last dividend declared was 55% in in December 2006. Over the last one year, Kotak 30 has yielded 51.2% as compared to 48.7% given by its benchmark BSE Sensex as on July 16, 2007. For more Mutual Fund News click here
