The last date for redemptions of hedge funds is June 30 and most investors are jittery this quarter. Some hedge funds like Pardus Cap (USD 2 billion) and Drake Capital Management (USD 5 billion) have suspended redemption altogether.

According to some unsaid rules for redemption in hedge funds, some funds have long 'lock-up' period during which no withdrawals are permitted. Some require advance notice of 45-90 days.
