Citigroup Global Market bullish on HDFC

Citigroup Global Market picked up a variety of different stocks across the board in the month of December. They have bought more than 198000 shares at about Rs 97 per share in Ansal Housing. Aztec Software is another company where they have picked up in excess of about 288000 shares at around Rs 169 levels.

 

The third stock, where the group has made heavy investments is Arihant Foundation and Housing. In this company, they picked up about 70000 shares at Rs 215. Side by side, they have invested in Shakti Pumps as well. They have bought more than 16,00000 shares at about Rs 1267 levels in HDFC. (View - All Bulk Deals by Mutual Funds

 

Another MF, Fidelity have picked up about 3% equity in Vaibhav Gems. Their other pick has been Logix Microsystem. In this company, they have actually picked up almost 7% equity in this month alone.  Besides, they have bought in AIA Engineering and Everest Kanto. In the FMCG pack, their key pick happens to be Bata. In Bata, they have picked up 400000 at Rs 185.

 

Goldman Sachs have also been actively buying in the said month. They have picked up close to 3% of the equity in Vakrangee Software. They have made this buying in three block deals of about 100000-92000 shares and about 80000-85000 odd shares at an average price of Rs 107-Rs 108. Besides, their other picks of the month have been Welspun Gujarat and Noida toll Bridge.
