Birla Sun Life MF declares dividend in its two schemes

Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of 15% (Rs 1.5 per unit on Face Value of Rs 10), under the dividend option of Birla Sun Life Freedom Fund - an open-ended balanced scheme which seeks to balance income requirements with growth of capital through balanced mix of investment in equity and debt at relatively moderate levels of risk through a diversified research-based investment approach. The AMC have also announced a dividend of 20% (Rs 2 per unit on Face Value of Rs 10) under the dividend option of  Birla Sun Life India GenNext Fund, an open ended growth scheme. The objective of the scheme seeks to target growth of capital by investing in equity/equity related instruments of companies that are expected to benefit from the rising consumption patterns in India, which in turn is getting fuelled by high disposable incomes of the young generation (Generation Next).

The record date for the dividend is July 8, 2009. All investors registered in the dividend plan of the schemes as on record date will receive this dividend.

The NAV as on July 6, 2009 under the dividend plan of Birla Sun Life Freedom Fund was Rs 19.92 and for Birla Sun Life India GenNext Fund was Rs 12.91.
