Here is expert equity call for the day on how the markets are expected to trade: Ridham Desai, Morgan Stanley: While the bond market suggests that RBI is behind the curve and needs to raise rates quickly to quell inflation, the equity markets are much more sanguine and focused on growth upside risks. We concur that the growth risks are to the upside and to that extent the equity markets may be getting this right, but it's still not correct to be complacent about the inflation risks.
