Andrew Garthwaite, Credit Suisse said that, "We marginally reduce our year-end S&P target from 1,440 to 1,425. While tail risks remain high, we stay overweight equities. In the past a trough of macro surprises has coincided with a trough in equity markets. Positioning remains cautious despite surveys highlighting client optimism on equities as an asset class in the longer term."
