In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Sanjeev Prasad of Kotak Institutional Equities, spoke about his reading of the market and his outlook.

Below is a verbatim transcript of the interview. Also watch the video.

Q: The stock that you have tracked for many years made a big move a couple of days back amidst all sorts of expectations of a big earning surprise in the current quarter. Do you think Reliance can deliver one lead by higher GRMs?

A: I guess so. At least the number should be better compared to the numbers reported in the third quarter because we have better GRMs compared to what you saw in the third quarter. Third quarter was only USD 5.9 to a barrel and clearly refining margins improved from the very low levels in the third quarter. Also, chemical margins are better compared to the third quarter numbers and finally you will also have higher production volumes as far as gas is concerned compared to third quarter. Clearly we would look at better numbers in the fourth quarter compared to the third quarter.
