Brad Durham, MD of EPFR says that emerging market equity funds are on a bit of a roll offlate. "The combined emerging market fund that we track had about five consecutive weeks of net inflows after a period in August and early September where it had about five or six weeks with outflows, " he says.

"So year to date, they have got about USD 17.4 billion in net inflows and are back on track to maybe setting an all time record here for net inflows," he adds.

Durham informs that India funds saw a net inflow of USD 30 million for week ended November 8. "Of what is trackable in terms of a country by country basis, the India country funds had taken in about USD 30 million."

He also mentions that global emerging market equity funds have about 5.7% weightage on India. He expects more global emerging market equity fund money to flow into India. "I think that there is some upside potential for more of this money to flow into the Indian market, and that is probably what we have been seeing for the last week or two."
