There is a lack of buying interest among institutional investors today. The flows are mixed; the buy/sell ratio is 1:2. The domestic funds are on sidelines; they are seeing marginal nibbling by insurance companies.

 

The markets are nervous because of the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) ruling and high inflation . The market is expecting strong fiscal steps by the government to curb inflation.
