Mkts seeing strong fiscal steps by govt to curb inflation

There is a lack of buying interest among institutional investors today. The flows are mixed; the buy/sell ratio is 1:2. The domestic funds are on sidelines; they are seeing marginal nibbling by insurance companies.

 

The markets are nervous because of the ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) ruling and high inflation. The market is expecting strong fiscal steps by the government to curb inflation.
