Its' too late to sell, too early to buy: Teckchandani

Excerpts from an interview with Gul Teckchandani:

On investing in the midcap space:

It is difficult to say. Probably, it is too late to sell and too early to buy. Basically, the long term investor can invest. But, no long term investor would want to lose even 5% of the money invested. I would suggest that one should wait a little.

On whether he would wait for the indices to attain some levels:

As I am not a technical person, I will not look at levels. But, I would like the margin of safety value to come up in the fundamentals. It is not to say that margin of safety does not exist in the market. But I don't think that when the index goes down, it takes any business.
