Here are experts equity calls for the day on how the markets are expected to trade:

Bharat Iyer, JPMorgan: In line with our bullish stance on Indian equities, we reiterate that investors should add risk through financials and industrials. We remain Underweight Consumption, both discretionary and staples. We prefer to take a stock-specific approach to global sectors.

Chris Wood, CLSA: After the state elections, the Govt might use the Budget in mid-March to announce long sought after reforms. But we cannot help but worry that the more the stock market and the currency rally the less pressure is on Delhi to announce anything. The continuing bet on "risk on", inclines us to add a further 1ppt to India in the Asia Pacific ex-Japan relative-return portfolio.
