Impact of US slowdown will grow: Goldman Sachs
Asian growth has remained resilient to the US downturn in Q2 but we expect that to change, and downside risks to our China forecasts are building, says Michael Buchanan of Goldman Sachs.

Michael Buchanan, Goldman Sachs: Asian growth has remained resilient to the US downturn in Q2 but we expect that to change, and downside risks to our China forecasts are building. While a sluggish US coupled with quantitative easing could help inflows into a still-growing Asia, we worry that the impact of the US slowdown will grow and so while our baseline remains for currency appreciation, we remain in a defensive mode in terms of trading recommendations.
