Check out: Two top picks from Antique Stock Broking
Antique Stock Broking is holding an investor conference. In an exclusive interview, Sandeep Shenoy of Antique Stock Broking, speaks about the conference and various stocks.
A: The theme was as we said growth in some companies and companies which are poised interestingly and I think Suzlon falls bang into that kind of a category. The macro scenario was very bad. I think, internally the balance sheet as well as on the consumption side, there were pressure.
The balance sheet pressure seems to be easing out slowly & steadily and also the offtake, especially because ultimately if there is no offtake, you balance sheet how so ever nice it is it is not going to board well for the company.
On the offtake side, I think the sector as well as the company are poised extremely well. We could have short-term pressure, but over a period of next 2-3 quarters, I think when the curve moves in the company's favor, you could see a strong re-rating happening. The balance sheet side is slowly getting answered, I think the consumption side, you have to wait for things to pan out in our favor.
Q: What are the top picks from Antique now?
A: If you try to really work out on a low risk basis, I think one of the annuity stream companies, which really can prove to be as slow and steady plotter and be a safe haven, could be Phoenix Mills . On a raw growth basis, company which is really having chutzpah to move to the next level, it could be Opto Circuits .
