Sean Darby, Nomura: Anaemic equity volumes suggest conviction levels remain low. Although macro data has not necessarily disappointed, earnings guidance has been mixed. Asia is experiencing less volatility than its global peers and is steadily accruing returns. Total returns are being helped by a weak dollar and on-going currency strength in Asia.
