Which stocks hit their 52-week lows?

The markets ended in green on the back of positive cues from Asia, however markets did remain volatile through the day. The Sensex was up 259.55 points or 1.86% at 14248.66, and the Nifty up 78.25 points or 1.92% at 4153.15.

Even though the market put on some weight, few popular stocks on the BSE touched their 52-week lows during the day.

Stocks like Cipla , Tata Motors and Wipro are a few among those that touched their 52-week low during the day.

It seems that the pain is not yet over in the markets and the gloomy picture is likely to continue for few more days. Global markets have been reeling under pressure for nearly a month on account of subprime shockwaves coupled with Yen carried trade.

However, there have been few satisfying moments for the markets in between in the form of a cut in the discount rate by the Fed.

Back home, the ongoing political stalemate in Delhi on account of Indo US nuclear deal has added insult to injury and has made markets extremely volatile and dicey to trade in.
