These include Poddar Knitex (up 49.48%), Siel (47.78%), Amrit Enterprise (27.96%), Foseco India (26.18%), OCL India (26.16%), Woo Yang Electronics (23.97%), Oriental Veneer (22.38%), Jayaswals Neco (22.11%), JM Financial (19.72%), Shasun Chemicals (15.23%), Gujarat Ambuja (14.95%), Unitech (14.29%), and Bindu Synthetics (10.06%).
While trading history exists for all except Poddar Knitex, others with like Amrit Enterprises, Woo Yang, and Oriental Veneer are traded intermittently.
On the other hand 19 companies has seen its promoters’ stake going down by more than 10%. Rajdhani Leasing tops the chart of companies where the promoters’ stake has gone down by a hefty 45.3% followed by Birla Power Solutions (27.78%), Rosekamal Textiles (24.34%), Kewal kiran Clothing (23.97%), Jarigold Textiles (23.73%), and Gangotri Textiles to just name a few. A clutch of these companies is traded on an irregular basis. (Full details in the tables that follow).
Interestingly, 590 companies, or more than 50% of the sample size have not seen any change in the shareholding pattern of their promoters.
