How has India Inc performed in FY 2007?
Around 108 companies have come out with their results till now. It is seen that out of the 108 companies, 23 companies have witnessed a rise in their profits in fiscal 2006-07.
Most of the companies are out with their earnings results. With negatives like high inflation and interest rates playing in the economy, investors were apprehensive about how the earnings of their favorite companies would be?
Around 108 companies, with their year ending in March, have come out with their results till now. It is seen that out of the 108 companies, 23 companies have witnessed a rise in their profits in fiscal 2006-07.
The topmost company in this list is Tele Data Infor . In fiscal 2006-2005, the net profit of the company had grown by 70.11% and in fiscal 2006-2007 by 228.52%. Adlabs Films has seen a growth in their profits by 125.11% in fiscal 07 over the previous fiscal.
Amongst the large-sized companies, Bharti Airtel and Infosys Tech have seen their profits growing more in fiscal 2007 against 2006. Bharti Airtel had seen its profits strengthening by 67.91% in 2006-2005 and in 2007-2006 it grew by 100.05%, a growth of 32.14%. Infosys has seen a 24.90% increase in their profit in fiscal 2007over fiscal 2006.
While there are companies that have gained, there are also companies that have seen a drop in their profitbaility in fiscal 2007 over the previous fiscal.
