As per the lastest data( Mar 31, 2007) on the BSE, FIIs stake in 45 companies is 30% and above. The companies in which FIIs have stake of more than 50% are HDFC, Prajay Enginnering, IVRCL Infrastructure, Geodesic Information, Hexaware, Indiabulls Fin.
In HDFC, FII stake is at 68.85% as of March 31, 2007. Last financial year FII stake was at 69.23%. FII stake in Prajay Engineering is at 58%. FIIs have beefed up their stake in IVRCL Infrastructure by 6% in FY07 over FY06. The lastest figure shows FII stake at 58.13%.
Geodesic Information, a mid-sized company, has also seen FII upping their stake in the company by 5.56% in FY07 over FY06. FII stake is at 52% in Hexaware and at 50.24% in Indiabulls Fin.

In the rest of the companies, FII stake ranges between 47-30%. Some of these companies are Satyam Computers, ICICI Bank, SREI Infra Fin, Jain Irrigation, Amtek Auto, Gateway Distriparks, Infosys, M&M, PVR, Mastek, Reliance Capital, Zee Entertainment, Elder Pharma etc.
In Elder Pharma, FIIs have upped their stake by 213.90%. in FY06 FII stake was at 11.38% and in FY07 it was at 35.73%.
