As Reliance Industries Chairman, Mukesh Ambani, wins the distinction of being the only trillionaire in the country with over Rs 1,00,000 crore of wealth through his shareholdings, we find out small and mid sized companies that have joined the one billion marketcap bandwagon.

The marketcap of around 48 small sized companies have grown into companies with a marketcap of Rs 1 billion( Rs 100 cr) and over.

The first company to top the list is BAG Films, a midcap company, whose market cap has grown by 699.98%. In nearly five months, its market capitalization has jumped from Rs 54.99 cr to Rs 439.91 cr. 

IKF Technology, a small cap company that is into marketing wireless web technology, has seen its market capitalization jumping from Rs 47.37 cr to Rs 186.9 cr. Flat Product Eq is the third top most company in the list with its marketcap beefing up by 257% and making it a Rs 1.85 billion company.

Some of the other known names are Aksh Optifibre, Deep Industries, Shri Ramrupai, Radha Madhav Corporation, Mysore Paper, Tera Software etc.

Interestingly, excluding BAG Films, all the other companies in this list are small sized companies indicating their strong growth.
