Companies that are nearing their 52-wk high

Out of the total 293 companies of BSE 500 index companies that touched their 52-wk high in this calendar year, majority of them are very near to their 52 wk high.

Out of the total 293 companies of BSE 500 index companies that touched their 52-wk high in this calendar year, majority of them are very near to their 52 wk high. Around 188 companies are just 0.06-10.98% away from their highs.

Out of these 188 companies, 15 companies are away from their 52 wk high by 0.06-0.96% and 109 companies are away by 1-6%. The rest of the companies are away from their highs by 6.04-10.98%.

Most of the largecap companies of the BSE 500 index are nearing their 52-wk high indicating that investor confidence is coming back in these companies as market momentum is going strong for some days now. The Sensex is trading above 14000 levels and Nifty after closing at an all time high yesterday is trading at 4271 levels.

The large size companies that are way from their 52-wk high by less than 1% are Tata Steel , SAIL , Adlabs Films , Tata Chemicals , Kotak Mahindra Bank  etc. The other Frontliners like Reliance Petro , Reliance Industries , NDTV , ABB , Bhushan Steel , Global Broadcast , Divi's Lab etc are away by less than 2%.

Amongst the mid-size companies, companies like Balaji Telefilms , Nagarjuna Fertilizer&Chemical , Jaybharat Textiles , Bank of Rajasthan have made it to the list.
