The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell for the first time in six sessions as dollar gained 0.8% and crude slipped 3%. It was down 94 points at 10,197. The S&P 500 index faced continuous resistance at 1,100. The market shrugged off strong updates from HP, Wal Mart, Applied Materials and Dow Chemical. The S&P 500 was down 11.3 points at 1,087 and the Nasdaq Composite fell 18 points at 2,149. Commodities: Reuters CRB Index was down 1.55%. Nymex Crude December declined 3% at $76.9/bbl on high inventories. Gold slipped from record high of $1123.4 to close at $1102/ounce. London Metals Index was down 0.8%. Copper was down 1.5% to $6500/tonne. Nickel was down 5% as inventories rise to 14 years highs. Baltic Dry Index was up 5.5% on Thursday. It gained 32% in 2 weeks. Market cues: -FIIs net buy USD 208.9 million on November 11 F&O cues: -Total Futures Open Int down by Rs 580 crore
