See FY09 revenues at Rs 74 cr: Vishal Info TechPublished on Mon, Aug 11, 2008 at 22:21 | Source : CNBC-TV18 Updated at Tue, Aug 12, 2008 at 13:01 Vishal Information Technologies, a company in the field of ITES/BPO services and a subsidiary of Tutis Information Technologies listed at Rs 130 on the NSE against the issue price of Rs 150 at a discount of 13.33%. GS Vishwanathan , Executive Director of Vishal Information Technologies sees FY09 revenues at Rs 74 crore and profit at Rs 22 crore.
Excerpts from CNBC-TV18's exclusive interview with GS Vishwanathan: Q: What do you expect to do in revenues by the end of FY09 and which divisions will contribute how much of these revenues; digitisation, e-publishing etc? A: For 2008-2009, our consolidated target is Rs 74 crore out of which data digitisation and e-publishing will do close to Rs 42 crore. We expect Rs 15 crore from the digital library business and the print on demand publishing will show a growth and will be around Rs 6.8 crore and the balance Rs 9 crore will be done by our subsidiary company Basiz Fund Accounting Services. So this is what overall every vertical will do.
Q: What kind of profitability can you report on this kind of a topline?
Q: Who are your key competitors in this business? A: There is no company that has as many verticals as we do; we are into data digitisation, we are into e-publishing, print on demand publishing and we are also into digital library, which is a very unique model. So no single company has got such a vast line to cover and we also have a subsidiary which is a KPO model doing fund accounting for hedge funds.
So if you say that, there is a mix and match of competitors like Datamatics or eClerx Services or Hexaware who are doing a particular vertical in their own way. But we are the only company as of now in India, who has got all these verticals in place and all of them are going to grow in the coming years.
Q: Who are your top three clients? A: At the moment our top three clients are United Nations, Universities and counties in USA. Through Universities we cater to many clients and counties in the USA, while the counties are catered through Network Database System (NDS) of a US-based company that outsources the work to us. So these are the top three clients as of now.
