India Max Invst Fund sell 1.8 lakh shares of Gyscoal Alloys

Shares of Gyscoal Alloys, a manufacturer of stainless steel products, ended at Rs 80, a premium of 12.68% over an issue price of Rs 71 a share on the National Stock Exchange.

India Max Invst Fund sell 1.8 lakh shares of Gyscoal Alloys

Shares of Gyscoal Alloys , a manufacturer of stainless steel products, ended at Rs 80, a premium of 12.68% over an issue price of Rs 71 a share on the National Stock Exchange.

The stock has witnessed 231 bulk deals on listing day. India Max Investment Fund sold 91,675 shares at Rs 99.39 and 91,675 shares at Rs 97.96 a share (183350 shares in total).

Sunil Talati, independent director of company said the company would deliever FY11 sales at Rs 300-400 crore and EPS at Rs 18-20. "The complete installation of the plant and machinery will be over by September 2011. So September 2011 to September 2012 even if the capacity is worked out at 80% company is confident to reach the turnover of Rs 1,000 crore plus," he said.

The company manufactures different grades of Stainless Steel products ranging between 200 series to 400 series. It has been exporting a wide range of products to various countries namely Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Kenya etc.

Gyscoal Alloys raised Rs 54.67 crore through IPO of 77 lakh equity shares. Issue proceeds are proposed to be used for capital expenditure for enhancing the production capacity of melting section by 100,000 MT per annum and long term working capital requirements.
