Accel Frontline is offering over 56 lakh shares to the public to fund its expansion and possible acquisition. NR Panicker, Chairman & CEO of Accel Frontline says that they have decided to globalise their IT services portfolio and go global. For this, they have plans to go in for some small acquisitions. He adds that they do not really intend to repay their debt. They don't have any long-term debt in the company to be repaid. Excerpts from CNBC-TV18's exclusive interview with NR Panicker: Q: ESS, Enterprise Service Solution, and your BPO infrastructure business is what you will be focussing on, you want to acquire and expand other strategic businesses as well, give us an idea of where you want to deploy these IPO funds?
Now we have created a size and with 2,200 people in our country, we have decided that we will globalise our IT services portfolio and go global. For that we thought that we should go for some small acquisitions. Q: From your four businesses- infrastructure management, IT management, ESS and BPO, which segment do you want to acquire in? A: For BPO services, we are already doing some small scale technical helpdesk services as a part of our Warranty Outsourcing Services. We are trying to acquire a similar company or a smaller company, which has got more seats in technical helpdesk, so that is one target acquisition that we are looking at. Another one is an Enterprise Software Services company, which is having a banking software implementation expertise. We are trying to look at that company and we are also trying to look at the US market. We never looked at the US market so far because we were a smaller company. Contd on pg 2...
