Plan IPO to dilute 20% govt stake: Telecom Consultants

Telecommunication Consultants India Limited (TCIL), a government-owned company, said it is planning an initial public offering to dilute 20% government stake, reports CNBC-TV18 quoting NewsWire18.

The company is awaiting the Telecom Department nod for the IPO, it said.

As per the company's website, TCIL offers total telecom solutions for projects. TCIL works in almost 45 countries mainly in Middle East Africa, South-East Africa, South-East Asia and Europe.

TCIL is one of the four public sector undertaking companies which are under Department of Telecommunication; others being BSNL, MTNL and ITI.
