Govt to divest 10% stake in Hindustan Aeronautics

The government is going to divest 10% stake in navaratna status PSU Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL), reports CNBC-TV18.

HAL is in the business of manufacturing aircraft, helicopters, navigation and related communication equipment.

Company reported sales of Rs 13,061 crore for the year 2010-11, a growth of 14% over the previous year (provisional figures). Profit before tax for the same period was Rs 2,718 crore.
