National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC) touched lower circuit of Rs 95.05, before closing the first session lower by 8.44% on the BSE.
Shares of state-owned construction company closed at Rs 97.05 as against issue price of Rs 106 after opening at Rs 100. Total traded volume on both the exchanges was more than 21.53 lakh equity shares. NBCC is engaged in the business of project management consultancy services for civil construction projects; civil infrastructure for power sector; and real estate development. The government raised Rs 127.2 crore via public issue of 1.2 crore equity shares, which had opened for subscription during March 22-27.
