Take Solutions , an international business technology company with a focus on life sciences and supply chain management solutions, has listed with premium of 20.55% at Rs 880 as against its issue price of Rs 730 and touched a high of Rs 925 in the beginning trade. But it could not hold that gain above Rs 900 and on account some selling pressure, it slipped below Rs 900 and touched a low of Rs 852.65.

H R Srinivasan , Vice Chairman and Prime Founder, Take Solutions sees FY08 EPS at Rs 47-48 and revenues at Rs 320-330 crore. He sees FY09 profit at Rs 85-90 crore.

He said that the lifesciences segment contributes 46% of revenues and  supply chain 49%. The business is looking at completing one acquisition by Q4.

Excerpts from CNBC-TV18's exclusive interview with H R Srinivasan:

Q: What can one expect from your company this year in terms of revenue and profit? We have estimates of Rs 350 crore topline and Rs 50 crore bottomline.

A: Going forward, we would have an EPS of Rs 47-48 for the year ending March 31, 2008. Revenues would be upwards of Rs 320-330 crore.

Q: If you do Rs 47-48 EPS this year, which is higher than our expectations, are you in line for something like Rs 70 in FY09?

A: At this point of time, I wouldn't like to speculate on FY09. We had a very strong growth in the first quarter. The second quarter seems to be doing well. Going forward, we are very well poised to meet an EPS guidance of about Rs 47 for FY08.

Q: What are your sales and profit estimates for FY09?

A: In terms of profits, we will definitely look at something in upwards of Rs 85-90 crore.

Q: What sort of margins do you hope to maintain because a lot of your businesses comes from the US while some of it comes from Asia as well?

A: We are in the product business, so there is a reasonable amount of pricing. The pricing that we currently have is not sensitive to that. We are able to modulate the pricing that we have on our products. The US markets would continue to occupy a significant portion of revenue. Even though we work for the US markets, we don't see any issues going forward into 2008-09.

Q: Could you tell us how much of your revenues come from supply chain and life sciences? What does it contribute in percentage terms to revenues?

A: We have only two verticals in the company, which are supply chain and life sciences. At present, the latter contributes about 46% to our revenue while supply chain contributes about 49%.

Q: Are these generally products or a mix of products and service solutions, which you offer to your clients?

A: We have a license fee and product-based services like software service that goes on especially in life sciences. We run data centers for a number of big pharma clients. These are products that we use to run these services.

Q: Some of your growth has come in through inorganic moves as well, any acquisition that you might be looking at over the next three-four quarters?

A: We have one more acquisition that we are looking at and that has been disclosed as part of our red herring prospectus. We hope to have that by the fourth quarter of this year.
