It was a healthy day for Roman Tarmat, a Mumbai-based infrastructure construction company, which started with whopping 67% over its offer price of Rs 175 per share and hit a high of Rs 387 on the back of buying support from institutional investors and there is news that the company is going to post EPS of Rs 30-32 in FY08 numbers. This bullish sentiment holds the stock above Rs 300 mark through the day. Positive momentum in markets also supported the share.
The stock closed at Rs 315.90, up 80.51%, with volumes of 1,04,67,430 shares on the NSE and The turnover was at Rs 342.37 crore.
There were 68 bulk deals happened on the stock, which includes 8.9 million shares on bourses. A 6.1 million shares traded on the NSE in 50 bulk deals while 2.8 million shares on the BSE in 18 bulk deals.
Two bulk deals of more than 6 lakh shares each traded on the NSE and two bulk deals of over 4 lakh shares each on the BSE.
