Market bracing for correction; experts discuss SBI, Motherson Sumi earnings

It looks like the market is expecting a further fall on global indices and so Monday may not be such a good day, says Ashwani Gujral.

The markets closed mildly in the green for the second day in running. Midcaps outperformed. Nifty held on to 10,300 levels, while Sensex was above 33,300.

The 30-share BSE Sensex was up 63.63 points at 33,314.56 and the 50-share NSE Nifty rose 12.80 points to 10,321.80.

SP Tulsian of sptulsian.com, Ashwani Gujral of ashwanigujral.com, Mitessh Thakkar of mitesshthakkar.com, Prakash Diwan of Altamount Capital Management and Prasanth Prabhakaran of YES Securities in an interview to CNBC-TV18 shared their outlook on market and stocks that reported numbers today like State Bank of India, Motherson Sumi, Aurobindo Pharma, MRF, Mahindra and Mahindra, autos and also on stocks that would be impacted with revision of GST rates.
