Wall Street ends with modest gains in thin, choppy session
The US markets squeezed out modest gains in a thin, choppy session, with the Nasdaq hitting multi-year highs. But Greek debt concerns limit the gains. Despite the day's lackluster session, all three major indexes have soared more than 20% from their early October lows.

Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.04% or 5.75 points at 12883.95. Nasdaq Composite was up 0.41% or 11.78 points at 2915.86. Standard & Poor's 500 was up 0.22% or 2.91 points at 1349.96.
On economic data front, weekly mortgage applications surged last week, buoyed by increased demand for refinancing as interest rates declined.
Onto the latest development in Greece, Greek prime minister says that the political leaders have agreed on all but one point when it comes to the new austerity measures and that one sticking point is pension cuts. Party officials say that they will meet again today and ofcourse all this would be ahead of the euro zone finance ministers' meeting in Brussels.
Meanwhile, the Euro weak in trade on the back of Greek debt talk delays. However, it is still above 1.32 to the dollar.
In commodities, crude prices trade near the highest price in more than a week after US crude stockpiles increased less than analysts forecast and refineries bolstered fuel production.
From the precious metals space, gold fell almost 1% on new worries about Europe's economy and as technical resistance prompted investors to take profits after the previous session's rally.
