US markets open higher; Dow up 78 points

At 20.01 hrs (IST) - US markets opened higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 78.44 points, or 0.8%, to 9,880.58. The Nasdaq was up 22.67 point, or 1.1%, to 2,078.19 while the S&P 500 was up 7.01 points or 0.67% to 1,053.51.
