Forexpros - The U.S. federal budget balance rose less-than-expected last month, official data showed on Thursday.

In a report, Department of the Treasury said that U.S. federal budget balance rose to a seasonally adjusted -86.0B, from -137.3B in the preceding month.

Analysts had expected U.S. federal budget balance to rise to -79.0B last month.
