Indian ADRs: Satyam dips 12.5%; Infy down 7.6%

At closing bell, Dow Jones ended 382 points or 4.6% down at 7,889 and Nasdaq was down 67 points or 4.2% at 1,524.7. S&P 500 was down 42.4 points or 4.9% at 827.2.

Indian ADRs ended in red on Tuesday. In IT space, Satyam Computers was down 12.50% at $ 1.54, Infosys was down 7.6% at $ 27.11, Wipro was down 5.58% at $ 6.77 while Patni Computers was up 3.09% at $ 6.

In Banking space, HDFC Bank was down 7.48% at $ 58.23 and ICICI Bank was down 5.95% at $ 17.08. In Telecom space, Tata Communication was down 3.53% at $ 17.51 while MTNL was up 4.24% at $ 2.95.

In other sectors, Tata Motors was down 4.94% at $ 3.85, Dr Reddy's Labs was down 3.76% at $ 9.21 and Sterlite Industries was down 3.19% at $ 5.46.
