US markets rallied for a second day as traders found cause for optimism and technology stocks blazed the trail. The Dow Jones ended 94 points higher at 12992, the Nasdaq shut shop at 2534, up 37 points. The S&P 500 closed 15 points higher at 1,424. Indian ADRs finished higher. Technology stocks rallied; Infosys up 5%, Satyam up 1.6%, Wipro up 1.64% and Patni gains 2.6%. Telecom stocks also jumped higher; Tata Comm was up 1.09% and MTNL up 1.33%. Banking stocks have shot up smoothly; ICICI Bank rose 3.33% and HDFC Bank up 3.54%. In the metal space, Sterlite up 2.15%. However, auto and pharma stocks declined; Tata Motors down 0.25% and Dr Reddy's Labs down 1.42%, respectively. A look at how the Indian ADRs performed:
