Mahindra Satyam signs $400 mn outsourcing deal with SAAB

Mahindra Satyam has signed an outsourcing deal with SAAB, valued at $400 million. The deal is likely to spread across five to 10 years, and is to manage the operations of SAAB.
The company has inked a deal to develop SAAB’s IT initiatives in India.
Anand mahindra, Vice Chairman and MD, Mahindra & Mahindra, said, “Mahindra Satyam’s capability lies in its hi tech capability. We will leverage this edge for Mahindra Satyam and also leverage the ecosystem for better results in the company.”
CP Gurnani, CEO of Mahindra Satyam said, “Mahindra Satyam has acquired number of customers recently and has preceedence in the enterprise solutions. The MoU with saab will apply natural synergy for technology R&D.”
SAAB is a global defense and aerospace organisation.
