TCS builds up 23 lakh shares in August series

On the expiry day, the volumes were a bit lower than yesterday. Tata Consultancy Services , TCS was up 6% with a build of 23 lakh shares in August series. HPCL was up 8% with big build up in August series.

On the expiry day the volumes were a bit lower than yesterday because most of the rollovers had already taken place. Nifty Futures had decent rollovers.

 

Apart from that we saw some buying in stocks like ICICI bank, Hero Honda, Sterlite, HDFC and Unitech those actually pushed the index.

 

TCS was up 6% with a build of 23 lakh shares in August series. HPCL was up 8% with big build up in August series.

 

REC has been looking up, that was up 7% with a build of 5 lakh shares.

 

The stock that looked weak in today's trade was Bajaj Hindustan which was down 5% with a fair bit of open interest build up in the August series.
