Suzlon adds 27 lakh shares in open interest

Suzlon added about 27 lakh shares in open interest (OI). GVK Power completed a QIP issue of USD 150 yesterday, added about 9 lakh shares in open interest.

A lot of individual stocks saw the action.  Stocks like Suzlon added about 27 lakh shares in open interest, so some fresh long positions getting created over there, on the options side, the Rs 120-130-140 calls have been active in trade today so some out of the money call writing has happened in that stock.

Stocks which are in news, for example, GVK Power, the company completed a QIP issue of USD 150 yesterday, added about nine lakh shares in open interest so fresh long positions on that stock.

JP Hydro had a board meeting today on fund raising and amalgamation with the group companies; so that stock added about 11 lakh shares so fresh long positions.

One stock where we have seen unwinding for the last two days, Idea Cellular, day before yesterday there was long buildup before the stocks, its cut about 10 lakh shares today in open interest, so also continuing unwinding on that stock.
