Nifty 5000 Put adds 10 lakh shares in OI

The Nifty November futures ended with 14 points premium versus 2 points discount. Nifty 5000 Put added 10 lakh shares in OI (open interest) and Stock futures added 5 crore shares in OI.

FIIs net sold Rs 395 crore in Nifty futures and net sold Rs 725 crore in Stock futures while FIIs net bought Rs 809 crore in Nifty options. The Nifty November futures ended with 14 points premium versus 2 points discount.

Nifty 5000 Put added 10 lakh shares in OI (open interest) and Stock futures added 5 crore shares in OI.

Huge long build-up was seen in Dena Bank, which shot up 13%. Its CoC (cost of carry) also surged and futures Open Interest was up 47%.

Fresh long positions were seen in Jaiprakash Hydro and Jindal Saw; their CoC was also up. Jaiprakash Hydro gained 6.8% and its futures Open Interest was up 20%. Jindal Saw rose 7% and its futures Open Interest was up 9%.

Welspun Gujarat tanked 3.8% and its futures Open Interest was up 20%. The company raised $ 100 million via QIP.

M&M rose 2.5% and its futures Open Interest was up 4%.
