We have seen this sideways movement now for long time. Nifty futures added about 15 lakh shares in open interest. The key here is that Nifty futures have retained a double digit premium going into the weekend, even though the volumes were very low just about Rs 8,000 crore overall.

Nifty 5,200 Call was very active today that added about 11 lakh shares in open interest. Even the 5,100 Call, which has been adding some open interest off late, added another 10 lakh shares in open interest.

Sugar, some of the stocks are down 16% for the week. Shree Renuka Sugar, which is down 15% for the week, today it was particularly weak, down about 6% or so adding 45 lakh shares. The volumes didn't give you comfort because it saw a turnover of about Rs 800 crore for Renuka Sugars.
