Sun TV surged 9% with open interest up over 29%. Fresh longs were seen and the stock has now recovered over by Rs 100 after hitting a 52-week low at Rs 260.

IDFC lost 4% with open interest up nearly 13%. Fresh shorts were seen on the stock and IDFC has now lost over 10% this week.

REC closed down nearly 4.5% and open interest was up by 11%. Fresh shorts and cash based selling was seen on the stock.

Century Textiles closed up 6% with open interest up 5%. There's unconfirmed talk that the company may be looking to sell its paper business to ITC.

Reliance Industries shut down 1.5% with open interest up 2.5%. Fresh shorts and cash based selling was seen. The 900 call continues to see selling.

Ambuja Cements closed down around 5% with open interest down 1%. Fresh shorts and cash based selling was seen on the stock.
