The YT buzz this week goes to the IIM Bangalore campus for Eximius 2011, their entrepreneurship summit. This year, in its fourth edition, they invited students from 150 colleges to present unconventional business ideas. A flagship annual event of the premier B school, the entrepreneurial summit is a learning ground for emerging entrepreneurs to test their ideas and innovations with peers and experts. This year’s event saw students entrepreneurs explore unconventional ideas and socially relevant businesses. Over two days, Eximius 2011 hosted 2,000 students from 150 institutes across the country who were given a chance to pitch their ideas and business plans to venture capitalists “The winner of this competition gets a bit of prize money which they can use as for seed money for other potential startup in the future” said Kevin Patel, Head, of Eximius 2011. “The other thing is that winning a competition like this also lends more credibility to the potential idea or the startup” he added. At the end of the event, 27 lucky students walked away with prices worth 15 lakh. Watch the accompanying video for the full show.
