Budget Expectations: Will Budget 2012 deliver student expectations? Take a look

Education qualifications to a great extent shape the careers of our students. However, it has become a costly affair today. The need for making education affordable to all should be onne of the government's prime concerns.

We are hoping that exemptions against education loans can be extended to 10 years from the currently allowed eight years.

The new proposals introduced by you in 2011 are benefitting Indian students like me to avail of education loans.

But today, coaching classes and private tuitions have started having a major impact on our educational excellence.

Moreover, we hope there will be no further rise in service tax or else school and college fees, tuition and coaching centres will also increase their rates, making it a more expensive affair.

Today education expenses have really sky rocketed and parents have to really think twice before choosing an institute.

Changes of this kind are sure to impact a student's future career path.
