RBI to ensure adequate cash in system

The Reserve Bank of India will ensure there is adequate liquidity in the banking system, deputy governor Shyamala Gopinath said. "We closely monitor liquidity situation. Depending on whatever is needed, we will take action," Gopinath told reporters at a conference on Tuesday.
